ROAD TRIP image no. 148 Broke down the tent at 4am, and followed the incredibly windy and narrow road back up towards the Zion-Mt.Carmel tunnel in pitch dark. I was the only one out there and I found some peace in that—plus it was Canada Day eh. The next stop would be Bryce Canyon and I was gunning to catch that sunrise at the Bryce Amphitheater. As I neared my destination, I came upon this beautie off HWY 12. It was chilly, there was a nice crisp dew, and the golden sun was just beginning to creep up. Even though I wasn’t where I had planned to be yet, just had to snap a couple. Once doing so, I peeled out and believe I broke numerous speeding limits. July 1st, 2011 + click through to see larger
