This is absolutely wicked.

—A trailer of footage from the 1919 film Romance of the Far Fur Country. Part of the Return of the Far Fur Country project. Shot in 1919 to mark the Hudson’s Bay Company’s 250th anniversary, the crew roamed from Labrador to northern B.C., exposing a  window onto life in Canada’s north in the early 20th century.
